Green Acres is a warm and inviting congregation located at the corner of High Street and Cedar Lane in Portsmouth, VA. We are a mid-size church with the programming of a large church. Adult Faith FormationCome early and join our classes for adults, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, fellowship and discussion.
Welcome TeamYou will be welcomed into a positive environment by our greeters who are genuinely excited to see you. If you have any questions, they would be happy to help. Our services last about an hour, are filled with great music, and are filled with inspiring messages from the Bible by our pastor.
DressAt our worship services, you will see casual clothes to business attire. Dress in what is comfortable for you. We are a church for all people. Come as you are!
ParkingWe have several visitor parking spaces located outside of the sanctuary doors, as well as, a small parking lot on the side of the church and a larger lot in the back.
KidsNursery is provided from 9:15-11:45am for children 3 and under. All children are welcome in the worship service and we have activity bags available in the narthex. A special time for a children’s message is part of our regular worship service to ensure they feel included, and then they will be dismissed for Children's Faith Formation during the sermon.
