Join us for a special Sunday as we highlight GAPC’s many national and global mission projects. Our guest preacher will be Rev. Donald Marsden, Associate Director, Frontier Fellowship, stationed in Richmond, VA.
Frontier Fellowship’s mission is- For every people: an indigenous church. For every church: a mission vision. “Of the nearly 7.5 billion people alive today, over two billion have never heard of Jesus. That reality compels us to engage the world’s least-reached places, supporting efforts to establish local churches that can proclaim the Good News of God’s Kingdom to their communities and beyond. We long to see all people, from every distinct group on earth, encounter the grace of God and become thriving expressions of the Body of Christ in their unique contexts.”
Donald’s involvement in missions has led him to various ministry roles both in the US and abroad. Donald’s ongoing ministry is primarily focused on Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Niger and among churches in the US. He loves encouraging pastors and church leaders, mobilizing congregations and building bridges of friendship with Muslims. In his free time, you can usually find him gardening, reading, playing guitar or hiking. He and his wife, Laurie, live in Richmond and have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Informational displays will highlight GAPC’s mission support via the church budget and special offerings. Join us on this special Sunday. Pray for our many missions and projects.
Rev. Marsden will also speak to the Bible Class at 9 a.m. in the Meeting Room on Sunday, June 24. All are welcome!
