Musical Arts Concert Season Four Begins October 21st
All concerts begin at six P.M.. A narthex reception follows each
performance.
Sunday, 21 October 2007 THE HILTON BRASS
The Hilton Brass, Tidewater's premier professional brass ensemble, will be in concert at Green Acres Sunday, October
21 at 6 PM. This quintet of local musicians has delighted audiences with its exciting and diverse musical offerings
since 1983. Hilton Brass has an extensive repertoire, ranging from Bach to Bacharach, Handel to Husa, and Mozart
to Mancini.
Hilton Brass has performed in a variety of musical settings including the Grand Illumination in Williamsburg, the
Mariner's Museum Series, the Smithfield Times Summer Series,the North Carolina Duck Village Fair, and the Jamestown
400th Anniversary Festivities.

We close the season with a well-deserved reprise. This quartet of folk singers and players (mandolin, banjo, fiddle,
guitar, and viola da gamba) offers folk, gospel and mountain favorites, four-part vocal harmony and pure, entertaining
fun. This is a genuine taste of Virginia, as those who heard them last year at Green Acres can attest.
